Camp Cuenca

Dear Family and Friends,

We now have a full house. We have four bedrooms full and are having a great time!

This morning the sun was shinning brightly and we all went on the double decker tour of Cuenca. This was a great way for our guests to get an introduction to this city.

Here is picture I made before we started. Our party made up more than half the tour group.

The equator sun was quite intense. We were all very happy that Chuck had the forethought to bring sunscreen for everyone. He shared it with everyone on the bus that had forgotten theirs.

Here is Chuck's cousin, George Parmenter. He bought a Panama Hat at the Turi stop so that his head would not burn up. Isn't he dashing??

Every Friday evening the ex-pat community gathers at the Eucalyptus Cafe for socialization and hydration. It is a great place to get to know the locals and to get information about
Cuenca. Chuck and I try to make it there every Friday evening. It was at the Eucalyptus where we found out about the condo we bought.

We all went to the Eucalyptus Cafe last night for dinner. Here is Vicki, Sharon and Marshall.
We are having such a great time with our six house guests. We have renamed our apartment CAMP CUENCA!

Love,
Nancy and Chuck
