When we were in China we went to an old style pharmacy. All the medications were herbal.
This pharmacist is filling prescriptions. I guess you take your medicine home and make a tea. Yes, some Chinese people still do that today. People also drink medicinal teas here in Cuenca...but I haven't seen a pharmacy in Cuenca like this one.
