Dear Family and Friends,
I came to Columbus, Georgia last week to visit with family. It has been a fun week.
We had a wonderful time when Aunt Opal visited us in Ecuador three years ago. Yesterday Aunt Opal celebrated her 90th birthday.
Here are some pictures of the happy event.

Bo gave Aunt Opal a picture he sketched of her.
Here is a picture of Aunt Opal at 18 months.
Aunt Opal you are very much loved. Happy Birthday!

Nancy

Safe Travels Robin and Jim
Dear Family and Friends,
Before moving to Ecuador, we lived in Richland, Washington for 40 years. Although we get back to Richland at least once a year, we never get to see enough of our family and friends.
We were delighted that our friends, Robin and Jim Morris, decided to spend Christmas and New Years with us this year.
We had a wonderful time enjoying an Ecuadorian style holiday season with them.
They left yesterday and we miss them already. Have a safe trip home and we will see you this spring.
Love,
Nancy

Dear Family and Friends,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Since we have lived in Ecuador we have embraced some of the traditions here....such as burning effigies at midnight on New Years Eve.
But there is one tradition from the "Old Country" that we dare not give up. Black eyed peas on New Year's Day.
Love,
Nancy
