Dear Family and Friends,
I came to Columbus, Georgia last week to visit with family. It has been a fun week.
We had a wonderful time when Aunt Opal visited us in Ecuador three years ago. Yesterday Aunt Opal celebrated her 90th birthday.
Here are some pictures of the happy event.
Aunt Opal with her birthday cake.

Dancing with her favorite son-in-law.
Aunt Opal with her son, Bo Bartlett
Bo gave Aunt Opal a picture he sketched of her.
Here is a picture of Aunt Opal at 18 months.
Aunt Opal you are very much loved. Happy Birthday!
Love,
Nancy

Safe Travels Robin and Jim
Dear Family and Friends,
Before moving to Ecuador, we lived in Richland, Washington for 40 years. Although we get back to Richland at least once a year, we never get to see enough of our family and friends.
We were delighted that our friends, Robin and Jim Morris, decided to spend Christmas and New Years with us this year.
We had a wonderful time enjoying an Ecuadorian style holiday season with them.
They left yesterday and we miss them already. Have a safe trip home and we will see you this spring.
Love,
Nancy

Foto Friday - 01/02/15
Dear Family and Friends,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Since we have lived in Ecuador we have embraced some of the traditions here....such as burning effigies at midnight on New Years Eve.
But there is one tradition from the "Old Country" that we dare not give up. Black eyed peas on New Year's Day.
Love,
Nancy

Cuenca Parade of the Children 2014
Dear Family and Friends,
Chuck and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Once again, on Christmas Eve, we watched the Paseo del Nino (Parade of the Christ Child) in Cuenca. I take so many pictures that it is very hard to select which pictures to use, but here is a sample of the beautiful children of Ecuador.
Enjoy!
Chuck and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Enjoy!
Love,
Nancy and Chuck

Foto Friday - 12/19/2014
Dear Family and Friends,
Christmas is a wonderful time of year, full of love and sharing. Chuck and I are so fortunate to have our good friends, Robin and Jim, from the U.S. sharing Christmas with us in Cuenca.
I was looking through some old pictures trying to find a suitable picture for today's Foto Friday and I came across a family picture made about 12 years ago when we were still living in Washington state.
What a bunch of silly folks! Crazy picture I know, BUT it is appropriate because all our family is crazy and full of love and fun.
We are missing our family back in the U.S. Sending all of our children and grandchildren hugs and kisses.
Merry Christmas to all....
Love,
Nancy
