While on this trip, each night I have been posting on Facebook where we are spending the night. The other night, after posting in Wichata, KS, I got a message on Facebook from our old neighbor who had moved to Oklahoma.
Our neighbor told us she was living right next to the freeway we were taking through Oklahoma and invited us to drop by for a visit. We were so delighted. We have not seen them in over 4 years and quite honestly, since we have moved to Ecuador, we did not expect to see them ever again.
So. through the magic of facebook, we had lunch with Yukino and Chisako, our former neighbors. What a wonderful treat!
We are now is Dallas, Texas and spending time with my brother and mother. Mom is living with my brother, Norman, in Dallas. Yesterday we went to the arboretum. It was all decorated for fall and the pumpkins made a good back drop for taking pictures.

You passed through Oklahoma and we didn't get to meet you! Darn! Guess we will just have to wait for our visit to Cuenca in December. Sounds like your having a great time with your beautiful family. Can't wait to meet you both.
