Dunedin, NZ
Dear Family and Friends,
Our ship docked about a 30 minute drive from Dunedin. The view of the countryside from the ship was so beautiful.
Chuck and I were in Dunedin a couple of years ago so we mainly walked around the city and had lunch.
This is the war memorial.
A statue honoring Queen Victoria.
The Anglican church in the center of town with a statue of the poet, Robert Burns, in front. Dunedin was colonized by Scottish people.
This is the famous Dunedin railroad station. It is a beautiful gingerbread looking building. It is the most photographed railroad station in New Zealand.
After we got back to the ship, I took this picture of the landscape before we sailed away.
Next stop is Akaroa.
Love,
Nancy
