I felt fine while we were in St. Petersburg and for that I am so grateful. While I was on this cruise I had mostly good days, but ever once in awhile the dizziness and nausea would pop up.
This is what happened in Helsinki. It was after I got off the ship and went into town that I started feeling sick.
Here are a few pictures I made before I returned to the ship and took a nap. By the way, laying down and sleeping always seemed to help.
This is an indoor market that is very close to where our ship docked.
Inside were tons of vendors with all things you can imagine for sale.
Upsenski Cathedral an Eastern Orthodox cathedral built between 1862 and 1868.
Here is a picture of my fellow travelers chowing down on some fish and chips.
It was at this point I decided to return to the ship.
Glad I was able to get off for an hour or so.

Travelling while sick is just nasty... You sure are a trooper!
ReplyDeleteYou are right about that but thankfully I got a lot better and had a great trip overall. All of the places we went at the beginning of this trip I had already been to.
