Chuck and I arrived in Cuenca, Spain yesterday. We have been really anticipating seeing the other Cuenca this whole trip. We did not get to visit Cuenca during our October trip to Spain.
We are here during "holy week" called Semana Santa here in Spain. Every night this week, in cities all over Spain, there are Semana Santa processions. We wanted to experience this in Cuenca.
Since we have arrived it has been raining. Not just overcast, but raining! Last nights procession was called off due to rain.
We have been captive to our hotel room waiting for a let up in the rain. I have one picture to share. It is of the "historic area" of Cuenca from our hotel window.
We are thinking positive and hanging in there. Hope you will hang with us.
