Protests are over - - Goodbye to the Troubles in Ecuador

Dear Family and Friends,

Not too long after I posted to the blog yesterday about the protests in Ecuador they abruptly came to an end yesterday afternoon.

There are smiles everywhere now.  People know that the worse is over. The roadblocks are gone and goods can freely flow into the city.  Of course we are happy because we should be able to go on our trip with no problem.

I wanted to share this good news right away just in case you might be worried about our city and about our trip.
