Chuck and I spent most of the day traveling by train from Madrid to San Sebastian. For those whose geography of Spain is in the same category as mine, I've made a little map.
When we were in Spain last fall, we explored most everything south of Madrid. This trip we are exploring the north of Spain. It took about 5 hours to train from Madrid to San Sebastian.
Today's pictures are of the train trip.
First, there are views from the train window.
It was an overcast and rainy day. As you can see from the trees it is not yet spring type weather.
Now some pictures of the inside of the train:
Snack time. Yes, Clarke this is the same good cheese you bought in Tangier. Yum, yum. We've missed good cheese!
And, our neighbors enjoying their train trip.
San Sebastian is a beautiful seaside town. I'll share a few things about it with you tomorrow.
Love,
Nancy
I loved that cheese. Have you run into our little friend from the train ...... miss congeniality?
ReplyDeleteActually Clarke, we haven't been looking for her.
